By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. This Policy supplements, and does not replace, any other notices we provide.

2) What We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

a) Information you provide directly

  • Contact information (name, email address, phone number, mailing address).

  • Business information (company, role, dealership or partner details).

  • Order and payment details (order contents, invoices; payment card info is processed by our payment processors and not stored by AutoFloors).

  • Communications (emails, messages, support inquiries, social media DMs).

  • Preferences (marketing preferences, design/spec preferences for custom orders).

  • User-generated content (testimonials, reviews, uploads you submit).

b) Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device & usage data (IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and general location inferred from IP).

  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 5).

c) Information from third parties

  • Payment processors, analytics, ad networks, social media platforms, CRM or lead platforms, and business partners may provide information about you (e.g., successful payments, campaign performance, interactions with our ads, publicly available profile info).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health data) through the Services. Please do not submit such information unless requested for a specific, disclosed purpose.

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve the Services (operate the Site, fulfill orders, deliver customer support, and improve quality, safety, and performance).

  • Customization and design work (configure custom AutoFloors products, track specifications, and coordinate logistics and installation where applicable).

  • Communications (respond to inquiries; send transactional messages such as order updates, quotes, invoices, and policy changes).

  • Marketing & advertising (send newsletters, event invites, and promotional content; show you ads on and off the Site; measure and improve campaigns).

  • Analytics & research (understand how the Site is used; develop new features and offerings).

  • Security & fraud prevention (detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity; protect the rights, property, and safety of AutoFloors, our users, and others).

  • Legal and compliance (comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes; enforce our terms; maintain business records).

Legal bases for EEA/UK users: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., to improve, secure, and market our Services), compliance with legal obligations, and consent (where required by law).

4) Payment Processing

We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe or similar) to handle card transactions. Card numbers are not stored by AutoFloors. Those processors handle your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and personalize content/ads. Types include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (required for core functions such as security, network management, and accessibility).

  • Performance/analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand Site usage.

  • Functional cookies to remember preferences.

  • Advertising/retargeting cookies placed by us or our partners to deliver relevant ads on and off the Site.

Your choices: You can manage cookies via your browser settings. Where required, we will present a cookie banner with granular choices. You may also visit our Cookie Settings link (if available on the Site) to update preferences at any time. Disabling certain cookies may impact Site functionality.

Do Not Track: Your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard, we do not respond to DNT signals. We will honor legally required Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

6) Advertising & Analytics Partners

We may work with analytics and ad partners (e.g., Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) who set cookies/pixels to help us measure traffic and deliver relevant ads. These partners may combine information from our Site with information from other sites/services for their own purposes. 7) How We Share Information

  • Business partners involved in fulfillment or co-branded offerings.

  • Legal and safety (to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, respond to lawful requests).

  • Corporate transactions (in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, bankruptcy, or similar event; information may be transferred as part of the transaction).

  • With your direction or consent (e.g., publishing testimonials or sharing designs/specs with a dealership at your request).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may “share” personal information (as defined under California law) for cross-context behavioral advertising—see Section 9 and the Notice at Collection below.

8) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type (for example, orders and invoices are typically kept for at least 7 years under tax and accounting rules).

9) International Transfers

If you are outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may be different from those in your country. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

10) Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, or restrict/opt out ofcertain processing of your personal information. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to: (i) know/access specific pieces and categories of personal information collected, (ii) correct inaccuracies, (iii) delete personal information (subject to exceptions), (iv) opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and (v) limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (if we collect it for certain purposes). You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: If we use advertising cookies/pixels that constitute “sharing,” you can opt out via our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link (if available on the Site) or by contacting us. We honor opt-out preference signals (e.g., GPC) as required by law.

  • Verification & authorized agents: We will verify requests and may require proof of authorization from agents.

Shine the Light (CA Civil Code § 1798.83): California residents may request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing in the previous calendar year. To request this, contact toni@auto-floors.com.

EEA/UK (GDPR)

You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing (including profiling) based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11) Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13) Third-Party Links

The Services may link to third-party sites, services, and features. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on the Site and, where required, we will notify you by email or other means.
